Parented Pre-CanSkate: a fun and safe environment for both skater and parent on the ice.  Skaters must be at least 3 years of age and no older than 5 to participate.  The basic fundamentals of skating are taught along with fun games.  Lessons are 45 minutes in length and are offered on Saturdays and Thursdays. Cost $182 including a $20 fundraising fee for which you will receive 10 delicious Purdy’s chocolate bars. Registration fee also includes a Skate Canada membership for the adult on the ice as well as the skater.

Pre-CanSkate: Independent skaters who are ready to take to the ice.  This fun program is designed for 4 & 5 year olds who have completed our Parented Pre-CanSkate lessons or who are already independent skaters but not quite ready for the CanSkate program.  Lessons are 45 minutes in length and are offered on Saturdays and Thursday afternoons.  Cost $152 including a $20 fundraising fee for which you will receive 10 delicious Purdy’s chocolate bars.

CANSKATE stages 1-5:  Skater must be at least age 5 OR completed the Pre-CanSkate program. Cost: $172.00 including a $20 fundraising fee for which you will receive 10 delicious Purdy’s chocolate bars.

Junior Prep: This program is an introduction to the StarSkate program.  Skaters must have completed Stage 5 of the CanSkate program or are CSC coach recommended for the program.  A minimum of 2 ice sessions are required for this program.  Ice sessions are available on Saturdays, Mondays and Thursdays.  Costs available upon request.

For Junior Prep only: Private lesson coaching fees extra.  A coach must be selected within the first 2 weeks of the lessons.

For Parented Pre-CanSkate, Pre-CanSkate and Canskate stages 1 to 5 skaters, a CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory.  Bicycle helmets or any other helmets are not acceptable.

The CSC reserves the right to cancel any or all programs and will issue a full refund upon program cancellation or will transfer registrant to another program.  CSC also reserves the right to increase the group sizes by 2 skaters due to transfers or program demand.  Transferring may involve a higher fee charge.
