CROWCHILD TWIN ARENA WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION, NEGATIVE COVID19 TEST OR A MEDICAL EXEMPTION DOCUMENT IN ORDER TO ENTER
At this time, the Crowchild Twin Arena will operate as scheduled.
The province of Alberta has declared a State of Public Health Emergency in response to the rising Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations.
The City of Calgary issued a new by-law that the Crowchild Twin Arena is following
In an effort to be as transparent as possible, the Crowchild Twin Arena has opted into the Restrictions Exemptions Program (REP). Proof of vaccination (two doses as of October 25th) or a negative Covid-19 test (within 72 hours) will be required for all patrons 12 years and older to access our facility. Official Documentation of a Medical Exemption will also be accepted.
Youth under 12 do not require proof of vaccination but still need to do COVID19 self checks for symptoms. Proof of age may be required so bring it with you.
Proof of vaccination documents can be accessed through My Health Records on the Alberta Government Website.
IMPORTANT - Please note that beginning September 20th, the onus is on the permit holder to ensure compliance with Vaccine Requirements - this includes participants, coaches and spectators. Please notify all members of your group to bring proof of vaccination, negative COVID19 test, or a medical exemption document with them every time they come to the arena as we will be checking. If proof is not on hand, you will unfortunately be declined entry. We are hoping that you will assist us in this matter.
If you need to adjust or cancel your ice agreements because your organization is unable to meet these requirements, please notify the Arena via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The health and safety of our customers and employees remain top priority, The REP is new to both of our groups - permit holders and staff - and we appreciate your patience as we work through the logistics. During this time, we ask that you please continue to be kind and patient with our staff as we work to keep everyone safe. We will continue to provide updated information on our website - crowchildtwinarena.net.
